"We spent Christmas here and husband, self and college age son all liked it a lot, including our dog. It was easy to book, a good value for the price, and spotless. The kitchen was very well supplied with basics and we found Christmas candies and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Recommended, although I imagine it's more fun in the summer when it's not raining and the river is not looking scary. Manager was very accommodating about check-in/check-out times."

"We wanted a place for a little getaway and this house was perfect. The photos do not lie! We checked in valentines day and they left us a bottle of wine and some chocolate hearts. What a nice surprise! I would recommend this house for adults - too many stairs and high balconies for small children. Also they welcomed my dog, which is hard to find a place that we can take our mini yorkie along with us."

"We wanted to find a place along the coast that both my husband and I and our children could relax and have fun. It was a little family getaway and to celebrate a special anniversary. The Viking House offered all the amenities and comforts of home with wonderful Scandinavian touches. The scenery and views from the Viking House were amazing as we enjoyed watching seals and birds go by on the spacious deck overlooking the crystal jade water. The location is ideal as it is minutes from many beaches that offer the best of the Northern California Coast. We had a great time exploring rocky beaches, sand dunes and enjoying our time at our home away from home and look forward to our next visit. If you're looking to stay in Jenner where the Russian River meets the Sonoma Coast, then we highly recommend the Viking House!"
